Advanced Technology

Precision Dentistry

When you seek care at our office, be assured that Drs. Ogrodnick, Kronenwett, Block, Alper and Wucherpfennig and their staff utilize the latest in technology to enhance the quality of your dental care.

Intraoral Camera

Drs. Ogrodnick, Kronenwett, Block, Alper and Wucherpfennig utilize intraoral camera technology that helps enhance your understanding of your diagnosis. An intraoral camera is a very small camera - in some cases, just a few millimeters long. An intraoral camera allows our practice to view clear, precise images of your mouth, teeth and gums, in order for us to accurately make a diagnosis. With clear, defined, enlarged images, you see details that may be missed by standard mirror examinations. This can mean faster diagnosis with less chair-time for you!

Intraoral cameras also enable our practice to save your images to provide a permanent record of treatments. These images can be printed for you, other specialists, and your lab or insurance companies.

Air Abrasion—Drill-less Dentistry

Air Abrasion can remove the early stages of decay, and can repair worn, chipped or cracked teeth. This new technology uses a pressurized flow of a tiny abrasive powder that gently wears away the decay or damaged tooth material. It is especially effective when treating our young patients.
Air Abrasion is fast, pain-free and helps retain as much of your natural tooth structure as possible. In many cases, Air Abrasion eliminates the use of an injection or drilling.

Cosmetic Imaging

Ever wonder what you would look like with a whiter smile or straighter teeth? Now there is no need to wonder. With cosmetic imaging, you will get a preview of the results of cosmetic treatment, before treatment has even begun. We can show you how you would look with veneers, crowns, bridges, whitening, bonding, tooth-colored restorations and more. Take some of the guesswork out of your decision and see your ultimate smile!

Patient Education on DVD

Sometimes it is easier to make decisions when you can see and hear all the options available to you. Which is why we have CAESY Patient Education on DVD. The programs on CAESY help us explain your treatment options visually, with more than 170 easy-to-understand explanations, photos, and 3-D animation presentations. With CAESY's help, you will know what to expect during the procedure, and you will have confidence in your treatment decisions.  During your appointment ask your assistant or hygienist about this exciting new technology!

Microscopic Endodontics

Dr. Wucherpfennig utilizes a high powered microscope to enchance patient care.  Magnification and fiber optic illumination provide Dr. Wucherpfennig with commanding visual control allowing for a more precise completion to treatment.
