Anne Wucherpfenning - Acton Dental Associates

Anne Wucherpfenning, DMD

Dr. Wucherpfenning brings her expertise and skills in endodontics (root canal therapy) to Acton Dental Associates. She was born and raised in Furth, Germany where she received her DDS degree from the Friedrich-Alexander Dental University in 1987. She continued her studies there, earning her Phd. doctorate “mangna cum laude” in the department of anatomy. She earned her specialty degree in endodontics from Tufts University in Boston and a DMD degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

She has had numerous Postdoctoral and Fellowship appointments at the University of Michigan at the Forsyth Dental Center . She has had academic appointments as a research associate at Forsyth, in the areas of Cytokine research where she received the Individual National Research Service Award from the National Institute of Dental Research and the National Institutes of Health. She has authored over twenty articles in the fields of oral biology and endodonitcs.
