The
Doctors
Dr. Ogrodnick, founder of Acton Dental Associates, earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry at Duke University, was awarded his dental degree from Meharry Medical College, and completed a general practice residency with the Veterans Administration. He has served
with the United States Public Health Service and conducted cellular
and radiological research at Vanderbilt University under a grant from
the National Institute of Dental Research. He has also completed postdoctoral
continuing education studies at Boston University School of Graduate
Dentistry, the United States Dental Institute, the Institute for Advanced
Dental Studies, Tufts Dental School and the Harvard School of Dental
Medicine. Dr. Ogrodnick has published several scientific papers and articles, including a guest editorial in the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. He is very active in the dental community where he is the past president of the Emerson Dental Study Club, has been a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society’s Yankee Dental, Scientific Committee, and a member of the Massachusetts Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Ogrodnick was awarded the designation of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), is an elected member of the Academy of Osseointegration (dental implants), and has been awarded the status of Evaluator Emeritus by the Clinical Research Associates organization. He has served on the faculties of Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry, and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he was a lecturer and clinical instructor in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry post doctoral training program. He is also an elected member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
