Pediatric Dentistry

We especially enjoy seeing our youngest patients become excited about their dental visits and strive to create a fun and comfortable atmosphere for children. Each child receives our fullest attention. Our entire staff dedicates themselves to making each child's visit a positive experience. Education is the foundation of our pediatric practice. We believe that by reinforcing the importance of dental health care at an early age, we can insure that your children will enjoy beautiful, strong, healthy teeth for a lifetime. Back to Services.

Air Abrasion—Drill-less Dentistry

Air Abrasion can remove the early stages of decay, and can repair worn, chipped or cracked teeth. This new technology uses a pressurized flow of a tiny abrasive powder that gently wears away the decay or damaged tooth material. It is especially effective when treating our young patients.
Air Abrasion is fast, pain-free and helps retain as much of your natural tooth structure as possible. In many cases, Air Abrasion eliminates the use of an injection or drilling. Back to Services.

Sports Guards

You make sure your children wear helmets, kneepads and other protective equipment during sporting activities—make sure their teeth are safe too with a custom designed mouth guard. We will create the mouth guard to meet your specific needs—whether your son or daughter enjoys soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball, rollerblading, skateboarding, martial arts, boxing, hockey, kickboxing or mountain biking. And because the guard is designed specifically for your child’s mouth, it will fit perfectly and will not interfere with mouth breathing or speaking. We can also attach a helmet strap to the sports guard. Back to Services.

Sealants

We may recommend applying sealants—an invisible plastic coating—to the biting surfaces of your children's back teeth. Those back teeth often have tiny grooves that a toothbrush cannot properly clean. Sealants are an effective barrier to the buildup of destructive plaque and bacteria that thrive in those grooves. After sealants have been applied, their teeth will have a smooth chewing surface that prevents plaque buildup, decay and fillings. Back to Services.
