Allison was born in Winchester, MA. She is a graduate of American Institute College, Class of 2008.
Allison joined the Acton Dental team in 2012. Among her many duties, she helps to make sure that the front desk runs efficiently. She is always cheerful and waiting to greet you with a smile.
When away from work, Allison loves spending time outdoors. She also keeps busy at home with her husband, two children, and dog.
Allison thoroughly enjoys working with the team at Acton Dental and always looks forward to making the patients’ dental experiences more pleasurable.
Liz has been working at the front desk at Acton Dental Associates for 13 years and has been in the dental field for a total of 35 years. Helping patients feel warm and comfortable is very important to her. She uses her experience to assist patients and staff in all aspects of our dental practice, including patient contact by phone and in person, managing the patient appointment schedule, and providing administrative support to the practice.
She feels truly honored to be part of the Acton Dental team. She is proud to be among exceptional professionals who support each other and provide the best care for our patients in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband Paul and their 2 grown daughters as well as extended family and friends. She enjoys cooking, seeing live music and theater, and getting to the beach as often as possible.
Peggy has been in the dental field for over 20 years joining the Acton Dental Associates team in 2005. She enjoys working the front desk as a receptionist and also helping our patients with any treatment and/or financial concerns. She has been married to her husband Paul since 1977 and has two beautiful daughters, Amanda and Brittany. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, floral arranging, and spending time in Aruba!
Joyce is our Treatment Coordinator. She brings 35 years of dental experience to the practice. Her role is to assist in maximizing insurance benefits and financial options with your recommended treatment. She considers it a joy coming to work every day and seeing the benefits of treatment in the patients’ smiles.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim, and family. She also volunteers her time as a life coach and with construction crews building new places of worship or assisting with disaster relief reconstruction worldwide.
Maria has been with Acton Dental Associates since 1999. She is the Insurance Coordinator and is responsible for making sure that claims get processed correctly and in a timely manner along with many other duties.
When not at Acton Dental Associates, Maria loves spending time with her family. Her favorite past times are going to Rockport, Ma for long walks, spending time on the boat, vacationing in Puerto Rico, eating Puerto Rican food, and reading.
Jen has been in the dental field for over 35 years. She worked as a part time dental assistant while in high school. She enjoyed it so much that she went to school to become a Certified Dental Assistant in 1987. Over time, she learned the administrative aspect of dentistry and currently works in both areas at our office. When not here at the office, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband of 26 years and their daughter. They are involved in ministry at their church and hope to go on a mission trip to Guatemala soon.
Melanie joined our team in 2005. She is a Licensed General as well as a Surgical Dental Assistant. She is radiology certified and has developed a vast knowledge of many dental procedures including implants throughout her tenure with Acton Dental Associates. Melanie greatly enjoys working with patients and helping to provide the best care possible for them.
She grew up in Shirley, MA, eventually settling in Ayer, MA with her husband Terry. She is the proud mother of two sons, Christopher, a HS Chemistry Teacher and Joshua a TSgt in the US Air Force and is an Avionics Specialist. Melanie is a Grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren, Anthony (AJ) and Adeline Rose (Addie). Also an owner of two cats.
She enjoys spending time with her family, painting, arts and crafts, football, days at the lake, and the beach.
Wendy’s dental career started in 1998. She attended Bryman Institute and received her degree in the dental assistant program. She strongly feels this is one of the best decisions she has ever made.
She began working at Acton Dental Associates in 2000 and assisted Dr. Ogrodnick for many years until his retirement. She greatly values what she has learned from him. Over the years she has established warm friendships with staff and many rewarding relationships with patients. On occasion she loves to volunteer her time to children’s dental needs.
She enjoys our annual trip into Boston for the Yankee dental convention as continuing education is important to her.
In her free time she enjoys being with her daughter. They are kept busy with sports, traveling, and crafty hobbies. They also enjoy their adopted cat, but most of all they look forward to time spent with family at their New Hampshire lakehouse.
Cheryl is a registered dental hygienist at Acton Dental Associates. She graduated from Middlesex Community College with high honors in the Phi Theta Kappa Society in 1998. Since earning her degree, she has gained valuable first-hand experience in various aspects of dentistry including pediatrics, cosmetics, and periodontics. She now enjoys helping people in all aspects of dentistry with our dental family.
At home, Cheryl values spending time with her husband, three children, their dog Rigby and her large extended family. Whether going to the movies, making crafts, or planning their next vacation together, family time is usually filled with laughter and is always important.
Chris came to Acton Dental Associates in 2015 joining our Dental Hygiene department with over 30 years of experience. She earned her degree at Middlesex Community College. Prior to starting her career as a dental hygienist, she worked as a dental assistant. Over the years as a hygienist she has had the opportunity to work with several dentists and specialists with different aspects and insights in the dental field along with many dental hygiene colleagues.
Chris enjoys working with all ages and teaching our patients to care for their overall dental health. As a licensed professional, she involves herself in community service programs and continues her education participating in courses through the Dental Hygiene Association and study groups offered in the area.
Chris lives in Burlington with her husband, their three adult children, and a family black Labrador. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys walking. Some of her favorite places include Cape Cod and Ogunquit – any place near the water!
Kim has been in the dental field since 1993 graduating with a degree in Dental Assisting. In 1998, she earned a second degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys getting to know her patients by carefully listening to their concerns, developing a trusting relationship and providing a comfortable environment. The transformation and teamwork that is developed helps the patients become more confident and proactive with their own dental care, which is something Kim finds very rewarding. She is continuously trying to broaden her expertise in dentistry by attending continuing education courses and staying up to date on the latest technology and products. She recently started a new part time role as a Clinical Adjunct Faculty member at Forsyth Dental Hygiene School. In her free time, she cherishes spending time with her husband, their two sons, and their dog Bode.
Susan is a Registered Dental Hygienist who joined Acton Dental Associates in 2008. She works with Acton Dental Associates’ patients to achieve a healthy smile.
Susan is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and the Massachusetts Dental Hygienists Association where she stays current in dental methodologies and sciences.
Susan likes to give back to the community by volunteering at Red Cross blood drives and being active in her town’s Lions Club. She enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, crafting, and having fun with her family and friends.
